Project:<\/strong>\u00a0 Increasing the professional capacity of teachers of Viduskurzeme primary school – development centre<\/p>\n Project No.<\/strong> 2020-1-LV01-KA101-077312<\/p>\n Project financier:<\/strong> State Education Development Agency<\/p>\n Partners:<\/strong> LOIMAA EVANKELINEN KANSAOPISTO, Finland<\/p>\n The aim of the project is to increase the professional capacity of the teachers of the methodological centre of the educational institution.<\/p>\n Project implementation period:<\/strong> June 1, 2020 – May 31, 2021<\/p>\n The project of Viduskurzeme primary school – development centre aims at increasing the professional and personal capacity of the pedagogical staff. The Education Strategy of the Municipality of Kuldiga provides that the education available in the county is of high quality and is competitive, and therefore it is planned to provide effective professional development and motivation programmes for pedagogical staff. The project will be attended by two educators, Santa Brasla and Santa Griet\u0113na. The two teachers are also special education teachers. The teachers involved in the project will complement their knowledge in the application of modern teaching methods, in the development of professional craftsmanship, and will familiarise themselves with the use of different methodologies in the training and parenting process.<\/p>\n The project participants’ knowledge of the development of modern pedagogical technologies in the European context will contribute to internationalisation, promote the development of competence-based educational content and theimprovement of the quality of education in the educational establishment, which is in line with the Development Programme for the State of Culture for 2014-2020 and the National Development Plan for Latvia for 2014-2020.<\/p>\n
